What's wrong with 2020
Each year some surprises things happen which makes every year different and noticeable. Mother nature and human being both give their contribution to make history of every year. Now percentage of good and bad makes a year lucky or maybe worst . If I ask you, what is the worst year of your life? I know most of you told 2020. And I also agree with you . Till now it's the craziest year in my life. Life as we know it has come to a full stop due to the coronavirus pandemic. But that’s not all. Here are my picks for some of the craziest things to happen this year.So the incredible question is why 2020 is so bad ? and what's wrong with 2020 .
CORONA VIRUS OUTBREAK :
Probably one of the worst things to happen this century. Hundreds of thousands died everyday, millions of jobs lost, and everyone around the world has been affected in different ways. India rank 3 in COVID-19 cases. Situation getting worst day by day. More than 21 vaccine is in trial period but till now none of these is approved .God knows when this pandemic will be in end.
ANTI - CAA PROTEST :
It's also known as Delhi Riots . In this violence multiple waves of bloodshed, property destruction, and rioting in North East Delhi. It affect all over the India by braking friendship between different religion . Almost 60 people killed and hundreds are wounded in this violence. This riots acts as a example of cruelty of human being.
AUSTRALIA BUSHFIRES :
This really started gaining publicity late last year and lasted till around March of this year. A devastating thing for our environment and millions of Australian who were displaced. Many rare species , innocent animal are died in this fire . Although its a natural phenomena but global warming caused by carless use of nature also a very important cause of this drastic fire.
CYCLONE AMPHAN & NISARGA :
Amphan and Nisarga both are super cyclone attacks India respectively 16 th may and 1st June in this year. Amphan attack West Bengal and Odisha mainly with a rapid speed of 260 km/hr.The cyclone has killed at least 72 persons and ravaged Kolkata and several parts of West Bengal. It has destroyed thousands of homes and swamped low-lying areas of the state. Whereas Nisarga strike in Maharashtra with a speed of 140km/ hr. It killed at least 5 people and destroy and destroy billion rupees worth property.
DEATH OF MANY LEGENDARY PEOPLE ::
Many renown person demise in this sad year. One of the most recognized athletes of our time suddenly passed away at such a young age, in a helicopter crash in January. RIP to him and his daughter Gianna, as well the other victims of this horrible moment.
One of my favourite actor Irfan Khan died after a two-year battle with neuroendocrine tumor. And next day after his death veteran actor Rishi Kapoor died with leukemia . The whole cinema industry shocked with this sad news.
But what shattered me most is the suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput. Its the most sad that how much depressed he was to took a such step. RIP to him . His death is a big mystery. Cause whatever may be but we lost such a jewel like him.
ASSAM & BIHAR FLOOD :
Flood is a another natural disasters which immediate impacts of include loss of human life, damage to property, destruction of crops, loss of livestock, and deterioration of health conditions owing to waterborne diseases. For last several Assam become a common zone of flood due to overflow of Brahmaputra. Initial flooding started in May 2020 due to heavy rainfall affecting 30,000 and destroying crops across 5 districts. Till July, the floods affected around 2 to 3 million in 27 districts and claiming the lives of more than 60 people. Another case of flood in Bihar have created havoc in the lives of people. Almost 25 people died and 16 District of Bihar are affected by the overflow of a river with the origin in Nepal . Both in this two state lots of people suffering with the fatality of the flood.
WAR OF INDIA - CHINA :
China dispute with India for line of actual control. Since 5 May 2020, Chinese and Indian troops have engaged in aggressive melee, face-offs and skirmishes at locations along the Sino-Indian border, including near the disputed Pangong Lake in Ladakh and the Tibet Autonomous Region, and near the border between Sikkim and the Tibet Autonomous Region. Additional clashes also took place at locations in eastern Ladakh along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Now India boycott Chinese products and many soldiers died in this conflict. It hampered the harmony between China and India.
BEIRUT EXPLOSION :
The whole world shattered with two successive blast at the port of the city of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon on 4th August 2020. The second explosion was extremely powerful, and caused at least 177 deaths, 6,000 injuries, billion rupees worth property damage, leaving an estimated 300,000 people homeless. Investigators told that a great storage of ammonium nitrate is the main cause of explosion although the real cause till unknown.
God knows what next in 2020!! Now it's the time we have alert about our action towards nature. We have to countdown till 31st December 2020 so we can wish that new year 2021 may come with bunch of happiness.
